After a shocking tragedy struck the Sand Colony, a luxury resort complex built in 1993 by developers Paul Finkelstein and Rajesh "Ray" Malik, it sat empty for years and has become known as one of Florida's most haunted abandoned hotels.
Thirty years later, legal intern Mimi Garcia is on the hunt searching for something, anything, that will help the city make a case to seize the property so it can be redeveloped.
But what Mimi finds sends her down a dangerous path. Turns out she's not the first to investigate the mysterious location. In fact, several others have gone missing and even died.
At first, Mimi doesn't believe in the curse. What she learns in Episode 1 changes her mind.
But will anyone else believe her?
